在侧重点上，discover侧重发现本来已经存在，后被人认识这一情况。find强调结果，即“找到”，不如discover正式。

discover与find的区别:

discover的基本意思是除去覆盖物,使之显示出本来的面目。是没有人发现过。表示“偶然”或“经过努力”发现客观存在的事物、真理或错误。
